Akij Resource has officially launched a new business unit, South Asia Travel and Hajj Service, with the aim of delivering reliable, transparent, and high-quality hajj and umrah services for pilgrims. The inauguration ceremony was held recently at Nayapaltan in Dhaka.
Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director of Akij Resource, inaugurated the new venture as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, he emphasized that hajj and umrah services are among the most sensitive and sacred sectors, where service quality, transparency, and credibility are paramount.
He noted that Akij Resource decided to enter the sector after identifying long-standing gaps in service quality and transparency within the hajj and umrah industry. According to him, South Asia Travel and Hajj Service will uphold the trust, professionalism, and ethical standards that define Akij Resource’s broader business operations.
